Lindsey Kiah Norward is a writer

with a passion for chasing stories that support and better connect people and communities. She has a demonstrated record in writing, narrative, and research that seeks to explore environmental and social justice as it pertains to race and class in America and throughout the African Diaspora.

Her work has appeared in Vox, The Root, Jezebel, Elemental, MoCADA, and others.

Lindsey is an avid reader and travels often. She completed her graduate studies in journalism and Africana Studies at New York University.

Lindsey is a Philadelphia native. There, she served as the lead writer for the Mayor's response to social activism and police reform following the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests.
